Winter Incentive trip to Luleå

Luleå, a charming coastal town in Sweden, is known for its unique blend of natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. One of the most significant attractions is the Gammelstad Church Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where visitors can explore well-preserved wooden houses dating back to the 17th century. The iconic Nederluleå Church, with its stunning baroque architecture, stands at the center of this historical site, drawing attention from both history enthusiasts and architectural admirers. In addition to the church town, Luleå boasts picturesque waterfront promenades where travelers can stroll alongside the Luleå River, offering scenic views and a chance to watch the icebreakers in the winter months or enjoy a leisurely summer day by the sea. The archipelago of Luleå, accessible by boat, presents an opportunity for outdoor activities such as kayaking, fishing, and exploring secluded islands rich in wildlife.

Program for the Winter Experience

09.30 Buses pick you up at the hotel in Luleå C, for transport to Ebbenjarka
(approx. 10 km, approx. 10 min).

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed, and we will start today's adventure by putting on warm clothes (snowmobile overalls, warm shoes, gloves and a hat and helmet for the group starting with a snowmobile safari). The group needs its own warm socks. So we divide ourselves into 3 groups.

Group 1 – We get a short safety briefing before we set off through snow-covered forest and over frozen lakes! We enjoy both nature and speed! The trip is of course led by our professional guides. 1 hour.

Group 2 – Here the dogs are eager to finally get going! We get a “try-out” with a dog sled through a real “magic forest”! We have time to enjoy nature and at the same time marvel at the dogs' speed and strength! 1 hour

Group 3 – On one of Ebbenjarka’s many ice rinks we run a thrilling relay race with Crosscart! Here we feel equal parts Formula 1 drivers and also like children again! 1 hour

After this the groups switch and before the day is over everyone has tried all the activities.

When the groups have completed 2 activities each we take a break and invite you into our fantastic restaurant hut! Here the log fire is crackling welcomingly and a delicious buffet lunch awaits – Butter & bread, salad, main course, meal drink (lingonberry drink/water) and coffee/tea.

After the break we continue with the outdoor activities – where there is 1 activity/group left.

At Night Dinner on Ice – 2.5 hours

Welcome to a candle light dinner experience with a difference! This 3 course dinner is enjoyed by the crackling fire in the large Teepee tent, on a table with a white tablecloth, candelabra and warm plates. You are sitting on reindeer pelts and are served good wines, first and main course and desert. There is also that bench closer to the fire, where you can sit as the coffee is served. The dinner is situated on the frozen sea, with the sea-ice and snow as the restaurant-floor and the stars and possibly the Aurora dancing over the sky. Exhilarate your senses with a unique, heart- warming experience on the frozen sea in Swedish Lapland.

2 h icebreaker cruise, swimming in survival suites, walking on sea ice (weather permit), hot drink on board, Cruise & Swim certificate, friendly guides and crew on board, great memories.
